FREEZE is pleased to announce that the Alaska Forum on the Environment, 2009 will be held February 2-6, 2009 using both the Anchorage Egan Convention Center and the new Dena’ina Center for the event. Photography Workshop

AT&T Free Day at Anchorage Museum
- FREEZE-related art activities for children. Paint polar bears, make lanterns, and learn about the science of snow and ice with the staff of the Anchorage Museum and Imaginarium
- Kids and families can work with landscape architect Peter Briggs and artist Jonny Hayes to enhance ICEQUARIUM, a special outdoor installation at the entrance to the Museum.
Dance Discussion & Workshop
Special Dance Discussion/Workshop by Gabrielle Barnett. Work with movement improvisation structures designed to bring awareness to our habits and choices of orientation — in relation to the space around us and other people. Learn a score that will be part of the afternoon performance along the Delaney Park Strip and through downtown to the Museum — workshop participants will be welcome to join that section of the performance. Appropriate for people of all ability levels — no dance training necessary.
